If approaching from Exeter

Turn off the A38 (Devon Expressway), at the exit marked A3121 to Ermington, Modbury, and Yealmpton (A379). Follow this road for approximately 1.2 miles and then go straight across the crossroads, (not bearing right), signposted Loddiswell, and later marked to Modbury and Kingsbridge. Follow this road for a further 2.6 miles. Go straight across the crossroads at California Cross, (Garage on your left, pub on your right), stay on the main road at the first fork, (i.e. bear slightly right), and then take the left fork, signposted Aveton Gifford, (A379) and Bigbury (B3392). Follow this road for 2.9 miles, following signs to Bigbury.

At Harraton Cross, go straight across the crossroads, signposted to Bigbury (B3392), Kingston, Ringmore, Challaborough and St Anne's Chapel. Turn right at St Anne's Chapel (The Old Chapel Inn), signposted Ringmore, and follow main road until you reach the village of Ringmore.

Turn right, by the Church wall (direction Kingston), and proceed up the lane and take the fourth drive on the left, marked Windwood Farm, Old Castle and Coach House. Proceed down this drive, passing a left turn and then taking the right fork. After passing the back of Old Castle on the left and Windwood Farm bungalow on the right, the flat entrance will be found further down on the left.

Longer route, but on wider roads

Continue on the A38 to Ivybridge exit. Turn left at 'T' junction at end of the slip road, and follow signs to Ermington. Drive through Ermington and join B3210. Follow this road until signs to Modbury and take two left turns to join A379 Kingsbridge direction. Proceed to and through Modbury and turn right at Harraton Cross, which is about a mile from the edge of Modbury, at the top of a long steep hill. Continue as above.

If approaching from Plymouth City Centre

Follow signs to Kingsbridge - A379, through Brixton, Yealmpton and Modbury, and turn right at Harraton Cross, see above.
